About us

This Union is a non profit organization formed by the Igbos from the Southeastern part of Nigeria resident in oldenburg and its neighboring cities, all in Niedersachsen of the Northern part of Germany. Oldenburg is a city in Niedersachsen and it is also called a " University City". You will also find various corporations located around the area including African shops.

Aims   

                                                                                                                The Union should be organized for and at the same time be operated exclusively for, educational and charitable purposes. The Union shall strive to achieve these aims through Lectures, Forums, Job mentoring and public discussion groups or similar programs for children, youths and adults.

Objectives

The Igbo-union is to promote unity, sports, cultural activites, education, ethnic pride and social empowerment among members. Help as well should have no boundary.
